Alberto Moreno is set to join Villarreal.
The Spanish left-back was released by Liverpool after his contract expired on July 1.
And according to ESPN FC, Moreno will undergo a medical at Villarreal in the next few days.
Barcelona, Sevilla and Aston Villa were all credited with interest - but Villarreal look to have the 27-year-old’s signature wrapped up.
